We understand that making arrangements for a loved one can be difficult. This page covers the necessary cremation authorization forms you will need and the cremation fees you will need to consider when making your arrangements.

At Need Arrangement Forms

If you need to make arrangements, you can start by filling out our online arrangement form with details of our packages and services.

You can complete 100% of the forms you need online. However,  know that some families would prefer to complete the arrangements with a pen. Download our At Need Arrangement Forms, print them, fill them out and have the next of kin sign them, and lastly send them back. Our arrangement counselors are available to help 24/7, so please feel free to call anytime if you have questions.

Who can Authorize Cremation in California?

In California, a cremation is authorized by the direct next-of-kin as listed in the health and safety code 7100. All California Cremation will work with you to file the death certificate and permit for cremation. In California, the final disposition cannot occur without a certified permit. This process can be complicated, but All California Cremation will help every step of the way. You will need to provide some information about the deceased to the funeral home (we call these vital statistic information), so that the funeral home can ensure correct information on the death certificate.

We will simultaneously work with the medical professional who will certify the cause of death. This process can take on average 7-10 business days. At this time, All California Cremation can assist you in ordering certified death certificates from the county where the death occurred, or you can go in person to obtain them. The wait time varies by county, but on average is 2-3 weeks from when the death certificate has been filed. The permit is issued electronically, and once it is issued, the cremation can be scheduled.

General Pricing List

Every funeral home is required to make available a General Price List, which itemizes all of the services a funeral home provides. These documents tend to have a "one size fits all" feel, and ours is no exception. Click here to view our General Price List for cremation package options and details as well as a transparent breakdown of what’s included in each option. If you have questions about the cost of our services, please use our online price calculator or give us a call at (800) 575-0551.
