Arranging Transportation

Loved ones can pass away in various places, from assisted living facilities to the hospital, or even at home. Hospitals and assisted living facilities will generally take care of your loved one until the body can be transported to our facility. Our transportation service can reach any hospital, residence, or other location within two hours. Even for our most basic services, we will arrange the transportation so you won’t have to worry about logistics in your time of grief.

Our holding facilities are licensed and climate-controlled. You can rest assured that we will keep your loved one preserved until we proceed with our cremation services. In San Diego County, we have a transportation center in Oceanside. Once the body is received at our facility, we will then prepare the death certificate and other permits. We are also here to help you coordinate arrangements with other involved parties.

Cremation Process

Once all the cremation services in San Diego are arranged, we can then aid you in the preparation for cremation. You can learn more about the cremation process and make a plan that works best for you and your family. Some individuals decide to perform the cremation as soon as the body reaches our facility, while others prefer to wait until after the funeral.

If you have decided on direct cremation, a casket is not necessary. Instead, you can choose from wooden, cardboard, and flammable containers. For those who choose to have a viewing before the cremation, you may prefer to purchase a cremation casket for the funeral.

When the cremation takes place, family members have the option to be present at our All California Cremation facility. For those who are grieving multiple deaths at once, because of legal restrictions, we can only perform one cremation at a time.

Cremation Remains Preservation

Our preservation containers range from temporary containers to urns and solidified remains—ashes pressed into stone. Some individuals choose to scatter cremated remains, which can influence the type of container you choose.

When scattering remains, make sure to follow local laws at designated areas. At All California Cremation, we offer a few different options for cremated remains. For example, we can divide the remains in order to accommodate several different memorialization requests. We also offer a non-witnessed scattering of remains off the Southern California coast.
